Holy Week and Easter Worship Schedule
April 13 – Palm Sunday: There is one worship service on Palm Sunday at 10:30 a.m. – Bishop Brian Prior to visit for Confirmation. The Procession begins near the patio.
ECW is coordinating a reception in honor of Bishop Prior and the Confirmands.
April 16 – Holy Wednesday Tenebrae Service (5:30 p.m.) at St. Luke’s, Jacksonville. Fr. Wally will assist.
April 17 – Maundy Thursday Service at 5:30 p.m. with Stripping of the Altar. A one-hour watch (optional) will follow the service.
April 18 – Good Friday Service at 12:00 noon followed by Stations of the Cross (optional)
Good Friday Stations of the Cross at 5:30 p.m.
April 19 – The Great Vigil of Easter at 7:00 p.m. followed by a Reception in Tyler Hall.
April 20 – Resurrection Day:
*8:00 a.m. worship service.
*10:00 a.m. Children Flower the Cross in the narthex.
*10:30 a.m. – worship service.
*Egg Hunt and Butterfly Release immediately following the 10:30 worship service.
Labor Day through Memorial Day Schedule
Sunday Mornings
8:00 a.m. Rite 1
9:00 a.m. Breakfast -Tyler Hall
9:30 – 10:15 a.m. Sunday classes for all ages. Adult classes on the first floor – children’s classes upstairs on the children’s wing.
10:30 a.m. Rite II Worship ( Children’s Chapel during this service)
5:30 p.m. Wednesday Evening Worship in the church followed by dinner in Tyler Hall. Lenten Series (dinner & a program at 6:05 pm) begins March 12 and continues through April 2
Thursday Schedule
9:00 a.m. Centering Prayer in the church.
10-11 a.m. Book Study in King Parlor.
11:30 a.m. Healing Service in the church.
